CHÂTEAU GRAND JEAN - AOP BORDEAUX BLANC

The DULON family have been winemakers from father to son for more than 250 years in the Entre Deux Mers area. Château Grand Jean is the oldest vineyard of Dulon’s family.
This blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, reveals a beautiful clear and brilliant yellow colour with a very aromatic nose. The palate shows a nice balance between the freshness of the Sauvignon Blanc and the roundness of the Semillon. The finish remains long on the palate.
Served between 8° and 10°, it will perfectly accompany fish, white meats such as pork or veal and Asian cuisine.

- Soil : Clay-limestone soil. Mechanical harvesting early in the morning to keep the maximum freshness and avoid oxidation.
Maturing on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for several months to refine the aromas and bring roundness. - Yield : Annual production 40000
- Winemaking : Samples of grapes are taken and tasted in order to harvest them at optimum ripeness. Pressing with selection of must, racking of the must to extract the finest aromas, fermentation at a lower temperature, maturing on the lees during 3 months to obtain aromas and rounded taste, fining, filtering, blending and bottling at the property.
- Color : Beautiful clear color.
- Nose : The nose is very aromatic, floral with notes of pear.
- Palate : The mouth is ample and round. The finish is long and intense.
- Serving temperature : Between 8° and 10°C.
- Preservation : 2 years
- Food pairings : Perfect with summer’s meals, fish, seafood, salads, white meat and goat cheese.
